CIGNA offers their customers an extensive look at their care providers, as search and preference features are available online. The CIGNA Provider Directory offers a full, extensive list of the provider's network physicians, dentists, pharmacies, hospitals, behaviorists, and vision specialists connected with the company. With the CIGNA Provider Directory, customers can narrow down the directory database to see which doctors are included in a CIGNA plan, so they can get the most out of their health insurance plan.

  Access the official CIGNA website at Cigna.com.

  Click "Provider Directory" at the top of the homepage. This page will redirect to an online database where you can view all doctors that accept CIGNA health insurance.

  Click the radio button next to the type of medical provider you are looking for. Options include general practitioners and specialists.

  Narrow your search by clicking the drop-down menu bar next to Language Spoken, to provide the language preference you desire for your doctor. If you have a certain gender preference for CIGNA doctors, click the radio button for "Male" or "Female," directly below Language Spoken.

  Type your city and state in the designated text fields. The text fields will have red asterisks, as entry is mandatory to proceed.

  Enter your 5-digit zip code in the text box directly below the state text box. Then, scroll down and click a radio button for mileage, if you wish to limit your search to doctors within a certain limited area.

  Click "Next." The search results will display a list of doctors that correlate with the information you provided.
