Individuals

Receiving Medicaid benefits as an adult in Idaho is determined by income, residency and citizenship. As of 2011, a single person must have monthly income before taxes less than $205. For a family of two, income must be less than $251. There are income requirements for a family of three ($317), four ($402), five ($448), six ($579), seven ($513), and eight ($645) as well. If you have a family that is larger than eight people, the state increases the maximum amount for an adult to be eligible by $65 per person.
Pregnant Women
-
A single pregnant woman with monthly income before taxes less than $1,207 can qualify for coverage while pregnant. A family of two with income less than $1,631 may qualify. The income requirements are specified for families of three ($2,054), four ($2,478), five ($2,901), six ($3,324), seven ($3,748) and eight ($4,171). For each additional family member, the state allows for an increase of $424 per month to qualify for benefits.
Children Coverage With No Monthly Premium

Covering your children with no monthly premium requires the same maximum income for family size as is required for families with a pregnant woman.
