How to Find Civilian Providers in Tricare
Tricare is the military health care plan that covers active duty service men and women along with their dependents. Patients on Tricare Prime are only authorized to see physicians at their Military Treatment Facility (MTF) unless your Primary Care Manager (PCM) has been changed to a civilian physician. If you are on the Tricare Standard plan, you may see any physician in the network.Things You'll Need

Go to the Tricare website. Select the network that you're in. This will be dependent on the location of your sponsor's duty station, which will be shown on the website.

Input your address or zip code and select what your "beneficiary category" is. You may then narrow your selection by specialty or type of provider you are searching for and click "search now". A list of physicians will then be displayed.

You may also call Tricare and request the names of civilian providers near you. You will need to call the proper region to get this information.
