Peachcare Guidelines
The Peachcare for Kids program is a comprehensive health care program for uninsured children, aged 18 or younger, who reside in Georgia.-
Eligibility

Eligibility guidelines for Peachcare include a family income equal to or less than 235 percent of the published federal income poverty levels for each year. Peachcare is available to all U.S. citizens, and qualified legal residents, asylees and refugees.
Coverage

Peachcare for Kids covers a variety of health care services for children in Georgia, including primary, preventative, dental and vision care. The Georgia Department of Community Health reports other services covered by Peachcare include hospitalization, emergency room services, prescription medications and mental health care.
Medicaid

The Peachcare program is available to children who are not eligible for Medicaid coverage. Where applications are received for Peachcare coverage and Medicaid is available, the application will be forwarded to Georgia's Medicaid services.
