The All Kids insurance program was established to provide reliable health care and more than 1.5 million children are part of All Kids. The program covers all visits to the doctor, vision care, prescription medication, eyeglasses and dental care. Illinois Children's Healthcare Foundation

• The Illinois Children's Healthcare Foundation (often abbreviated as the ILCHF) is a program that focuses on making sure that all Illinois children are given the chance to be raised in a healthy manner. The Illinois Children's Healthcare Foundation seeks out funding solutions for children's mental health, as well as oral health (tooth decay is a highly common childhood problem that affects a significant percentage of children without dental insurance). • The Illinois Maternal and Child Health Coalition (IMCHC) specializes in active promotion and improvement of the well-being and health of the state's children and women. The IMCHC was established in 1988 and aims to improve health care via empowerment of the community, advocacy, policy development and education. Its main objectives aim to surpass all critical barriers, such as racism and poverty, that prevent children and mothers from achieving wellness and optimal health. The program observes the success of public health care and insurance programs, and also puts together private insurance reforms for children and women.
