MedEx provides temporary health insurance for international travelers. It can cover foreign travelers going to the U.S., as well as U.S. residents traveling abroad. Select the best MedEx insurance choice for your needs and ensure that you are eligible for it. For example, TravMed Choice is not available to New Jersey residents. You must also be traveling for at least seven days and no longer than 365 days. TravMed Abroad is an option for trips that do not last longer than 30 days. Call MedEx or view these options on its website to evaluate coverage options.

Get your selected health insurance option online by clicking the green "Buy Now" button on either the TravMed Choice or TravMed Abroad web pages. Fill out the requested information, such as your country of residence, destinations, number of travelers in your group and beginning and ending dates of travel. Click "Get a Quote" and view the amount you will have to pay. If this amount is acceptable to you, buy the insurance by following the directions on the web page.

Print the application on the MedEx website if you prefer to buy insurance via fax. Fill out all the requested information, such as names, dates of birth, coverage dates and requested coverage benefits. Fax this to the number on the application.

Call MedEx if you prefer not to order online or via fax. The number is available on the company's website. Be prepared to answer the same questions that are asked on the application. The representative will provide you with a quote and instructions for payment if the quote is acceptable to you.
