  1. National Center for Healthcare Leadership

    • The National Center for Healthcare Leadership is a nonprofit organization that helps ensure that there is quality leadership to meet high standards of patient care. The goal of NCHL is to improve the health system as a whole through health-care management leadership programs. NCHL offers several leadership programs, including Leadership Innovation Growth, Advanced Leadership Development Program, Emerging Executive Program, Advanced Management Program, Essentials of Leadership Excellence, Clinical Leadership Excellence, Strategic Human Resources and Change Management Program.

    HealthCare Leadership Program

    • The HealthCare Leadership Program is funded through the California HealthCare Foundation. It is committed to improving how health care is both delivered and financed throughout California. It offers training and innovative ways to improve health care. Information offered about CHCF includes hospital, a guide to long-term care in California, the Chronic Disease Care Conference and the HealthCare Leadership Program. The program is a two-year program that offers clinically trained health-care professionals further skills and training necessary for effective health care and leadership.

    Healthcare Leadership Alliance

    • The Healthcare Leadership Alliance is made up of several organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American College of Physician Executives, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Heathcare Information and Management Systems Society, the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Medical Practice Executives. All institutions promote various leadership programs through the Healthcare Leadership Alliance. However, the main program contact is the American Organization of Nurse Executives in Washington, D.C.
