How to Get in Touch With the State Nursing Board

State nursing boards provide education on pubic health and safety and confer certifications for nurses through licensing examinations. They also act as a regulatory agency for the practice of safe nursing and ensure that licensed nurses comply with state laws. Boards of nursing are also authorized to suspend and revoke the licenses of nurses who fail to comply with board standards.
