How to Fold a Draw Sheet for a Bedridden Person

Illness and injury can cause a patient to be bedridden, or have difficulty moving around in bed. A draw sheet is a flat sheet that's folded and placed under a patient's torso to allow two hospital staff members to move the patient in bed. They stand on either side of the patient and grasp the draw sheet with both hands. They then count to three, and lift and slide the sheet toward the head of the bed to move the patient up. Folding a draw sheet for a bedridden patient is easily learned.
