Check the fuse if the Sterilmatic completely fails to operate. Open the fuse panel on the side opposite the control panel. Replace the fuse if it is blown. Confirm that the electrical power source is 60 amps. If the power source is using incorrect amperage, relocate the Sterilmatic to a 60 amp source or use a power converter.

Inspect heating elements if unit is operable but failing to reach 15 PSI pressure. Remove the lower panel on the front of the unit by unscrewing the thumb screw. Use a hand to feel for heat from the heating elements, but do not touch them. If heating elements are not functioning, have them replaced by a professional service technician.

Replace or secure timer wiring if the leads are damaged or loose. Loose or damaged timer wiring can cause the timer to be erratic or fail to return to zero. The timer wiring is located in the lower panel on the front of the unit. Deactivate the Sterilmatic and remove the panel by unscrewing the thumb screw. Tighten the timer wiring lead screw with a screwdriver. If replacing the wire completely, consult a professional service technician.
