How do I Find Medicaid Providers in Illinois?

Once enrolled in the Illinois Medicaid program, beneficiaries need to pick a primary care provider (PCP). The PCP is a general practitioner, pediatrician or obstetrician. Your PCP will refer you to specialists who accept Illinois Medicaid cards, if you need a referral. Before selecting a PCP, make sure the one you want is currently accepting new patients. You can search for a PCP on the Illinois Health Connect website.
