How to Apply for Georgia Medicaid Peachcare Services

Gather your household income information to help you determine whether you meet Georgia’s requirements for eligibility for PeachCare services. All children must be 18 or younger, uninsured and ineligible for Medicaid. Requirements include being a U.S. citizen, qualified legal resident, refugee or asylee. The income requirement; verifiable earned or unearned income, must be at or below 235 percent of the federal poverty level. Visit Peachcare.org, or call 877-PEACH-GA for detailed information about documentation required for each specific type of income source.

Apply online for services at peachcare.org. According to the website, the application takes about 10 minutes to fill out. To expedite the online process have all documentation on hand pertaining to your earned and unearned household income. It will be part of the application.

Apply via telephone. Customer service representatives are available to take applications over the phone at 877- GA PEACH or 877-427-3224 The line is open from 7:30 a.m.– 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Apply via mail. A paper application can be downloaded in English or Spanish at peachcare.org/Guidelines.aspx and mailed to PeachCare For Kids, P.O. Box 2583, Atlanta, GA 30301-2583.
