How to Apply for Texas Medicaid for Kids
If your child is age 18 or younger, without health insurance and is a resident of Texas, he may be eligible to receive healthcare benefits through the Children's Medicaid program of Texas. With Children's Medicaid, kids from low-income families can receive free health coverage for various medical services such as routine check-ups, dental and vision care, prescription drugs, hospital visits and lab tests. To be considered for Medicaid benefits, you must submit an application for your child to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission for review.Things You'll Need
