Medical examiners and coroners who worked for the government earned a median annual wage of $90,420, while medical examiners and coroners who worked in private industry earned a median annual wage of $107,450.

The top 10% of medical examiners and coroners earned more than $142,400, while the bottom 10% earned less than $59,180.
