Meditech has been building software for the medical industry for 40 years. For example, if a doctor orders testing done on a patient, the laboratory staff knows, from the software, which tests have been ordered and is able to enter the results into the patient record. If medications are then prescribed to the patient, the pharmacy has an electronic record of the prescriptions.
