How to Print a Temperature Log for the Freezer
No matter what you are placing in the freezer, maintaining a stable and proper temperature is essential in making sure the contents remain stable. Printing out a temperature log to place on the freezer door allows any individuals who observe the temperature reading to record it on the sheet. As each person records the temperature, any fluctuations will be noted and adjusted. Visit the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases' website for the Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit, which contains a Fahrenheit and Celsius Temperature Log.

Click on the "Resources" tab, then select the "Temperature Log for Vaccines" (Fahrenheit or Celsius) under "Logs and Records." Select the printer icon in the top left of the screen to print out the log.

Tape the log to the freezer door so the temperature may be recorded at least twice a day. Check the freezer temperature, and then mark an "X" in the appropriate box on the log. For example, if your freezer reading is 4 degrees, mark an "X" in the 4-degree box under the specific day of the month.

Complete the additional information in the log by including your initials, room temperature and time of day the freezer temperature was checked.
