Gather all personal material before you begin your search. You should have your Medicare card with you, as well as the names and dosages of any medications that you are currently taking. If the medication is a generic drug, double check any other names the medication is known by with your doctor or pharmacist. You should know the exact amount of the medications. Make sure that all medications are equal. A doctor might prefer that you take a name brand because it has specific benefits over a generic version.
