Medi-Medi programs vary from state to state but include one or more of the following benefits:**

- Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB) program pays Medicare Part B premiums for people who meet specific income and asset requirements and have higher incomes than those eligible for QMB.
- Qualified Disabled and Working Individuals (QDWI) program helps working people with disabilities afford their Medicare Part A premiums if their income is above the QMB limit but lower than the SLMB limit.
- Qualified Individual (QI) program provides extra help paying Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B premiums and deductibles for individuals with limited incomes and assets who are not eligible for Medicaid.
To qualify for Medi-Medi programs, applicants must meet specific income and asset requirements and be entitled to Medicare Part A or Part B. Eligibility guidelines vary by state, so applicants should contact their local Medicaid agency for more details.
