How to Check a Medicare Claim Status

If you receive Medicare benefits, you will receive a Medicare Summary Notice in the mail. The MSN will show all the health care services that you received and that were billed to Medicare within the past three months. Compare the MSN with all your receipts and bills from the doctor to make sure you received everything that you were billed for. You can track the status of your claims on the Medicare website.
