      Make sure that you are enrolled in both Medicare Parts A and B. Medicare Part A covers in-patient hospital care (hospital stays, hospice and home health care). Medicare Part B covers doctor's cost and outpatient care. This also means that you must be at least 65 years old.

Wellcare only operates in certain states, including Georgia, Florida, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Texas.
