-
2
Follow the instructions on comparing plans. Enter the required information, such as your zip code, to find appropriate plans offered in your area. Answer the appropriate questions regarding whether you have financial assistance to pay for your prescription drugs.
-
3
List all the types of medication you are taking. Provide the name, dosage, quantity and how often you take the medication. Review the list of medications you entered to ensure it is the correct information.
-
4
Choose a pharmacy within your area from the list of names and addresses. You can also add local pharmacies to the list. By selecting a pharmacy at this stage, you may limit the plan options that are available. You can skip selecting a pharmacy at this point and choose one later based on the type of plan you want.
-
5
Select the option that allows you to browse prescription drug plans. Scroll through the list of plans that show the charges for each plan that cover the prescription drugs you are taking. Decide on a prescription plan based on affordable premiums and copays. If you are not taking any prescription medication, take the plan that offers the lowest premium with appropriate coverage.
