Can you become an RN with biology degree?

While a bachelor of biology (or any other bachelor's degree) can give you a good foundation of scientific knowledge, you cannot practice as a registered nurse with only a biology degree or any other bachelor's degree. To be eligible to practice nursing, you must successfully complete a nursing program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing (ACEN) and pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
