How much school is required to become a RN in Georgia?
Once you have completed your nursing education, you will need to pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed as a registered nurse. The NCLEX-RN is a standardized exam that tests the knowledge and skills of nursing candidates.
In addition to the education and licensure requirements, Georgia also has a number of other requirements for RNs, such as:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Must not have been convicted of a felony or certain misdemeanors
