Nine Month LPN Programs
A Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program typically involves coursework, labs and clinical practice. Most programs are nine months to one year and can be taken at community colleges, vocational or technical schools. LPNs operate under the direct supervision of registered nurses and physicians and are responsible for providing basic care, including taking and recording vital signs, caring for wounds, washing patients and providing injections and medications, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.-
