What is a VPP Merit site?

VPP Merit sites are those workplaces that have successfully achieved and maintained injury rates below the national averages. The "Merit" status identifies worksites that have implemented successful safety and health management systems and have injury rates that are at least 50 percent below the national averages for those industries participating in the program for at least one year.
