1
Recognize what triggers your anxiety. By targeting what makes you anxious, you can begin to overcome the issue and the resulting increase in perspiration. Make a list of all of your triggers and put down the feelings that result when you face them.

2
Practice deep breathing. When faced with a stressful situation, or when feeling anxious, the body produces more adrenaline. This leads to an increased heart rate, feeling shaky and excessive sweating. Deep breathing exercises can reduce the effects of this adrenaline and help bring your body back under control.

3
Count to ten. When you feel a panic attack or an anxiety attack coming on, slowly count to ten while doing your deep breathing exercises. This will enable you to remain calm and stop the attack before it gets worse.

4
Dress appropriately. If you are going to be in a stressful situation, take care to dress accordingly. Do not wear heavy sweaters or jackets that will raise your body temperature and encourage more perspiration.

5
Schedule a doctor's appointment. If you are still perspiring when suffering anxious moments, there are medical treatments available to help this condition. Botox injections can be used to block sweat glands from producing perspiration and some medications may also reduce the overall amount of perspiration you produce.
