Twice a month an Anxiety and Stress management group meets at the DePaul Center in Waco, Texas. The DePaul Center is a branch of the Providence Health Center and specializes in the treatment of individuals with substance abuse and psychiatric issues. The meetings commence at 6:30 p.m. and last an hour.

Recovery International is a support group that meets on Tuesday morning where the members use the "recovery method," to deal with feelings of anxiety and panic. According to the official website of Abraham Low Self Help Systems, "The Recovery International Method is a system of cognitive-behavioral self-help techniques for controlling behavior and changing attitudes." Thus, this support group may seem to have a more structured format and strategy for confronting anxiety.

This support group is primarily for people who suffer from social anxiety and extreme shyness. The meetings occur weekly on Mondays at 7 p.m. in the library of the Central Presbyterian Church. Once you park in the church parking lot, look out for signs directing you to the church office, which will take you close to where the meeting is located.
