Side Effects

Common side effects of benzodiazepines include gastrointestinal discomfort, confusion, drowsiness, fatigue, hyperventilation, memory loss, impaired coordination and muscle weakness.
Warning

Benzodiazepines have a high potential for abuse, and prolonged use may lead to physical dependence. Seizures may occur if benzodiazepines are suddenly stopped after prolonged use.
