How to Play the Secret Word Improv Game

Everybody loves a secret, especially when that mystery is a secret word taped to your back and you have to guess it. Two people with big imaginations are all you need to play the secret word improv game. Here’s how.

Things You'll Need

• Two to play, others in audience
• Pen, paper and tape
• Two secret words

  Have the two players leave the room while the audience writes down two “secret words”. Each word should be written on a separate sheet of paper.

  Have the players return to the room and tape a secret word to each person's back. Do not allow the first player to see the word being taped to his back. He should see the word that is taped to the other player’s back.

  Pick a "scene" that involves the two players and their secret words. For instance, they can be in the woods, at work or waiting at a bus stop.

  The players need to provide clues to one another, without giving the word away. Each player must guess the secret word that is taped to his back.

  Stop after a few minutes, or when one player says he has figured out the word. Check to see if the player's guess is correct.

  Pick two more players from the audience to start a new game.
