Will a sociopath ever stay with victim?

Sociopaths are characterized by a lack of empathy and remorse, and they often engage in manipulative and exploitative behaviors. While they may initially show interest in a potential victim, their relationships are often short-lived and characterized by a lack of genuine connection. Sociopaths may stay with a victim for as long as they perceive personal benefit, such as financial gain, social status, or emotional gratification. However, once they no longer see any advantage in the relationship, they are likely to move on without any regard for the victim's feelings or well-being.
