Camp Capella offers camp opportunities for children with physical or developmental disabilities. Located on Phillips Lake in the Bangor area, Camp Capella offers day camp in the winter months and weekly camp during the summer months. Applications for both are available on their website.

Probably the best known camp for disabled children is the Pine Tree Camp, located in Rome, Maine. Due to generous contributors, Pine Tree Camp has never turned anyone away because of inability to pay. The barrier-free atmosphere creates an unforgettable camp experience for disabled children that includes swimming, kayaking, fishing and tenting beneath the night sky.
