How to Get More Confidence and have a better self-esteem
Getting more confidence in yourself and having a better self-esteem is a personal challenge that you must make. I think we've all probably have had a very low self-esteem at one point or another. So don't feel alone, or bad about it. There's always good qualities in people. In my own opinion, it's the people who dwell on everything bad that seem to bring out the worst things about them. They aren't very enjoyable to be around.Instructions

Stop caring what others think. If you are going to improve your own self esteem, it's going to start with not carrying what others think. This has always been my biggest problem. I try to pretend I don't care, but I do usually. I'm extremely sensitive, and my feelings can easily get hurt if I've been criticized or not accepted into something. There's really no reason to get so discouraged. Some people will like you, some won't. Some people will think you are good at something, others won't. Just learn to please your own standards, you'll feel much better about yourself. Or focus on the people who do make you feel good, and block out the haters at the very least. If you are really struggling to get over what people think. You should learn to make it about yourself though.

Focus on that good parts about yourself. That's a great way to have better self-esteem. Don't get caught up in your short-comings. Don't always focus on your appearance. Appearance is overrated in my personal opinion. If you want to look better, just do it for yourself and forget others. People can be stupid, and judgmental over things like that. Don't obsess over it, or you'll never learn to love yourself. You are who you are, got to accept that.

Enjoy your life more. Enjoy what is around you, who you have and the things that you have is a great way to feel better about your own personal self. You should give yourself some credit and feel good knowing there's good things you are capable of doing.

Be yourself. Don't pretend, lie, or act like you are something that you're not. That's hiding from your insecurities, fears, and what you really are. Be who you really are in life. Do what you really want. This is the most critical and important step in gaining a better self-esteem. If you are who you really are, you got it all then. No one can ever take that way and that's a trait most people don't have anymore.

Never quit. Whatever you do in life, have that never quit attitude. As cliche as this sounds, don't quit what you believe in. Don't quit on your dreams. Having dreams is a healthy thing. It gives us something to look forward to. If you continue to plug at it, one day something great can happen. The only way it doesn't if you just give up on everything in life. That's no way to live or ever feel good about yourself.
