How to Have a Midlife Crisis
Instructions

1
Wonder if your life matters. When you have a midlife crisis, you begin to obsess about the amount of time you have left to live and what you have done with the past.
-
2
Consider changing careers. When you have been doing the same job for over 20 years, you begin to think there might be a more interesting job out there somewhere. You may begin to look for it if you become bored with your current job.
-
3
Criticize your body and the changes it's going through. Men that are having a midlife crisis may begin to feel that real men are strong and in top shape. When you are in your 40s, you may not be as strong or fast as before and you may begin to get gray hair, leading to a crisis.
-
4
Believe that you would be happier if you had achieved professional success. Even if you had achieved it you won't be happy because your beliefs about how life would be when you reach the top will clash with reality.
-
5
Express how you feel, even if you're angry. Say how you feel straight up without name-calling or callous words. Be less eager to please other people to show that you're truly in the middle of a midlife crisis.
