1
Boost your confidence by acknowledging your personal strengths, special skills and the talents that will ultimately guide you through the process of achieving your desired results. Losing confidence in yourself may diminish your motivation, but when you accept the fact that you have the skills required for the tasks, you will find yourself motivated again.

2
Focus on positive thoughts in regard to your desired task or goal. Make a list of the reasons why you want to achieve your goal, whether that be to feel healthier after losing weight or to achieve a work promotion if you complete your project on time. Maintain this optimistic attitude to improve your motivation.
-
3
Identify the tasks required to reach your ultimate goal or results. Make a list of each individual task or assignment, big or small. Seeing each individual task will help you understand how better to achieve positive results and that merely combining these smaller tasks will get you to the big payoff. Check each task off one by one as it is completed to see the progress you have made.

4
Give yourself a break and understand your own limitations. When you strive for perfection, it is hard to regain your motivation because the end result appears to be far out of your reach. Release some of that pressure on yourself; don't be too hard on yourself when it takes you longer or more effort to get something done.
