The Differences Between Subconscious & Creative Conscious

The human mind is fascinating, complex and mysterious. Millions of neurons and electrons in our brains control our actions that we have on a conscious and a subconscious level. Every thought, action and word must be first processed through the unique pathways in our brain. Although there are many decisions that we make with our conscious mind, the subconscious part of our minds is very powerful.
  1. The Subconscious

    • Actions and memories in the subconscious mind are different than those in the conscious mind. In simple terms, the subconscious mind is the storage closet where our thoughts that were once conscious go to retire, but occasionally resurface from time-to-time. Many New Age authors and enthusiasts attribute positive outcomes in life to the ability to train the subconscious mind to expect good, positive things to happen.

    Creative Conscious

    • Whether you are a gifted artist, painter, filmmaker or singer, you have that creative ability thanks in part to the creative conscious. The creative conscious allows you to discover your innate ability to create and express your inward ideas in an outward fashion. As you learn to tap into your creative consciousness, you can easily express your happiness, anger, confusion or delight in life in a few brushstrokes, poems or through other creative outlets.

    Differences

    • Our subconscious mind is a very powerful part of the mind that can control decision-making and behavior. The creative conscious mind is your ability to create art. This does not necessarily mean that you are creating artwork, but it means that you have the ability to be as creative as your conscious mind allows you. Subconscious thoughts were once conscious thoughts that were either repressed or forgotten by the conscious mind.

    Reaching for Success

    • Many authors suggest that honing in on the ability to control the subconscious minds is a key to developing a successful life full of positive things. The Law of Attraction states that you can bring what you desire into your life by training your conscious mind to be more positive, which will in turn, creative more positive thoughts in your subconscious mind. Since it is widely believed that our subconscious mind has power over our conscious decisions, practitioners of the Law of Attraction suggest it is the most powerful way to use your subconscious for success.
