How to Find an Anger Management Therapist

1
Visit your local community center. Community centers often offer anger management classes for free or a small fee. Ask your local community center if there are any upcoming anger management courses or if they can put you in contact with an anger management therapist.
-
2
Contact your insurance company and inquire about anger management therapists. Anger management may not be covered under your policy, but your insurance should still be able to give you the contact information of local anger management therapists. If they do not know of any, call therapists that your insurance company works with and ask them if they specialize in anger management or know of any therapists who do.
-
3
Search for anger management therapists online. There are several websites, such as 4angertherapy.com, that allow you to search for anger management therapists in your area. Simply select "Therapist" under the therapist directory tab and enter your zip code and desired radius.

4
If you are a college or high school student, visit your counseling center. Universities and high schools often offer counseling programs that can assist with a broad range of topics, including anger management. If your university or high school does not offer anger management, ask the counseling center if they know of local anger management therapists or classes in the area.
