Concerta is used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) in children ages six and older as well as some adults.
Benefits

Children using this medication have shown improvement in staying focused on tasks and are less likely to become disruptive than those with ADHD who do not take Concerta.
Drug Interactions

If using an MAO inhibitor, you should not take Concerta. If you are taking certain antidepressants or anticoagulants, you should let your doctor know before taking this medication.
Side Effects

Glaucoma, agitation, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dizziness and seizures are some of the side effects associated with taking this medication.
Warning

In patients with heart problems, there have been reported cases of sudden death when taking this medication.
