Remember that some things you will never be able to prevent. You can never prevent death, accidents, natural disasters, politics or any of the things that tend to throw us for a loop. Keeping this in mind will help you deal with being confused by keeping a level head in every situation.

Take control of your outlook. Instead of feeling trapped in by the things going on in your world, take charge and begin taking over the portions of your life that you control over. You are the only one who can stop you from sinking into despair.

Paint a victorious picture of yourself to emulate. If you think of yourself as a hero in every situation, then you will be able to work toward that visualization. Deal with being confused by stopping all negative "I can't" attitudes and start saying "I can."

Stop rushing around and find a quiet place. Many times the answers to life's big confusing problems will come to us when we give them room to surface. Take a thirty minute walk without any distractions. Leave your spouse, MP3 player and your dog at home. Just walk and ponder your situation, and you might be surprised to find the answers coming faster than you thought.

Try meditation or aerobics. Following your breath in a quiet meditative state can help you deal with being confused by allowing your mind time to rest. Aerobics also give you this benefit, as well as allowing your body to work off some of the tension as well.
