Alternative Behavior Treatment Centers

Behavioral health refers to the relationship between behavior and the well-being of body, mind and spirit. According to the "Healthy People 2010" government study, healthy mental functioning results in productive activities, fulfilling relationships, and the ability to adapt to change and cope with adversity. When disturbances in thinking, feeling, or mood interfere with daily life, help is available from local counselors, community mental health centers, and a wide range of alternative behavioral health treatment options.
