    Side Effects

    • Seroquel can cause death in elderly patients. Seroquel can also cause suicidal thoughts, especially if the patient suddenly stops taking it without a doctor's orders.

    • Seroquel can be used by itself or with other medications. It is used to decrease hallucinations and help with concentration.

    Interactions

    • Seroquel should not be taken with certain medications. The medications Seroquel cannot be taken with include high blood pressure medications, anticholinergics, dopamine-like drugs, calcium channel blockers, barbiturates and glucocortitoids. If you are any of these medications, tell your doctor before taking Seroquel.
