How to Get Through A Panic Attack
Anyone who has ever suffered from a panic attack can tell you just how scary and overwhelming a feeling it can be.When experiencing a panic attack your body releases a surge of adrenalin. Just like it would if you was in a life or death situation. This adrenalin while helpful in a dangerous situation can have some unwelcome side effects.
During a panic attack your heart starts racing and you instantly break out in a cold sweat. It begins to get harder and harder to breath, your chest is tight and your stomach hurts.

Remain calm:
I know this sounds impossible, but in order to get some relief from the anxiety you need to be calm. The easiest way to do this is to start taking slow deep breaths. Each time that you inhale repeat the word calm or peace to yourself. -

Stop negative thoughts:
If you find negative thoughts filling your head, immediately repeat the word stop. And replace the negative thought with the word calm or peace. Be sure to continue with the deep breathing until your anxiety starts to fade. -

Listen to an anti-anxiety tape.
Start each morning and or end each night by listening to a hypnosis tape to reduce anxiety. It's amazing just how much better this can help you to feel.
