You can't make rational decisions and maintain healthy relationships if you cannot control your temper.When you find things are not going your way it is easy and natural to be angry and lose your temper. It's a basic human emotion. Unfortunately, it is also a sign of immaturity and lack of tolerance to lose your temper at the smallest things. It is also damaging to your health and spoils relationships with your colleagues, friends, and relatives. You can start to learn to control your temper if you apply some rules and willpower.

Train your mind to stay under control by adopting methods like meditation and yoga. Get involved in activities that teach you how to avoid losing your temper.

Avoid situations where you might be tempted to lose your temper. If you find yourself in such a situation try to leave that place as soon as possible.

Practice accepting differences of opinions and ideas by playing them in your mind and thinking through the different outcomes. Also try to expect shortcomings in people and in that way, you are not shocked or upset when the shortcomings occur.

Close your eyes, and count up to hundred before speaking. Deliberately keep quiet when confronted with a situation that would normally make you angry.
