What I Wish Known

1. Time flies. It's cliche but true. It feels like just yesterday I was in high school, and now I'm in my 30s with a mortgage and a career. Cherish every moment, because it goes by in the blink of an eye.

2. Comparison is the thief of joy. Everyone is on their own journey. Don't compare yourself to others, because you'll always come up short. Focus on your own progress, and be proud of what you've accomplished.

3. It's okay to ask for help. No one is perfect, and we all need help sometimes. Don't be afraid to reach out to your friends, family, or therapist if you're struggling. There are people who care about you and want to help you succeed.

4. Don't take anything for granted. Your health, your loved ones, your job - these things are all precious. Appreciate them every day, because they could be gone in an instant.

5. Life is short. Don't waste your time doing things you don't enjoy. Pursue your passions, and live your life to the fullest. You only have one chance, so make the most of it.

6. The best things in life are not things. Money, possessions, and status mean nothing if you don't have good health, loving relationships, and a sense of purpose. Focus on what truly matters, and you'll find happiness.

7. Be kind to yourself. Everyone makes mistakes. Don't beat yourself up over your past. Learn from your mistakes, and move on. You're doing the best you can, and that's all that matters.

8. Life is unpredictable. You never know what's going to happen. Embrace the uncertainty, and find joy in the journey. Life is full of surprises, and they're often the best part.

9. Be grateful. Take some time each day to appreciate the good things in your life. Gratitude has the power to change your perspective and make you happier.

10. Love yourself. This is the most important thing of all. If you don't love yourself, no one else can love you. Be kind to yourself, forgive yourself for your mistakes, and accept yourself for who you are. You're worthy of love, just the way you are.
