Why cant sociopaths stand to be alone?

This is a misconception. Sociopaths can stand to be alone, and may even prefer to be alone. Sociopaths enjoy having their own space because it allows them to avoid interactions with others. Some sociopaths may avoid social interactions with others out of fear or anxiety, or because they simply don't care to bother with them. While it is true that sociopaths may find it difficult to form deep, meaningful connections with others, they are not necessarily afraid of being alone.
