How to Check Body Voltage With a Multimeter

Your body absorbs voltage when exposed to electricity. Studies have shown high body voltage causes stress, slows the rate of healing, and reduces the effectiveness of your body's immune system. Voltage absorption occurs from the electric fields generated by household appliances, the current running through your home's electrical wiring, and exposure to static electricity. To reduce voltage absorption, you must first discover where it is in your home that your body voltage is the highest.

Instructions

Turn on the multimeter. Turn the dial to volts. Walk outside your house and press the negative probe of the multimeter into the ground. Slightly damp soil provides the best connection.

    • 2

Turn on every light in the house. Place the probe between the thumb and forefinger of your partner. Follow your partner around the house. Have the person stop next to electical outlets, appliances and empty spaces. Record the voltage results in each location.

Turn off all the lights in the house. Unplug the appliances in the house. Tour the house a second time. Take readings on your partner in the same locations recorded on the first tour. Compare the differences in voltage between the two tours.
