1
Create a clear schedule and to-do list. When you feel like you lack time in your day or week it can be very helpful to sit down and review your schedule to see exactly how you are using time throughout your days. Sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by responsibilities or projects and making a to-do list and mapping those tasks out on a schedule can help you feel more grounded and positive. You'll begin to see that you can get your work completed if you stick to a schedule, and you will feel more hopeful and less pressured for time.

Take small breaks to relax, meditate or stretch. Even if you only have short breaks of fifteen or twenty minutes, you can learn to use this time to do deep breathing or some yoga stretches. Focusing on the positive aspects of your work or life is also critical. As you relax, reflect on what you enjoy the most about your day or the parts of your life you are thankful for. This will remind you that your hard work is worth the effort.

Keep your body and mind healthy. When you're busy it can be easy to feel that you don't have the time to make healthy meals or exercise. You should take time each day to take a short walk, even if its during your lunch break or while you are traveling between locations. If possible, try biking or walking to work. Do some Internet research on simple, healthy recipes for busy people, and try to shop and plan you meals ahead. Staying well-fed and physically fit will keep you energy levels and mood elevated, and you're more likely to feel positive, even during the busy moments.
