We all daydream sometimes. Whether in class, at work or during a boring family gathering sometimes we cannot help it when the mind starts to wander. Women think about their wedding day and men might dream about touring all the golf resorts in south Florida. Next time you are drawing a blank with daydreaming, think of these ideas and let your imagination run wild.

Wedding Day

• Almost every little girl dreams of her wedding day. Imagine how you will look that day. What style of dress do you like? Imagine a traditional ball gown with lace and other embellishments or a modern fitted gown with clean lines. Think of hairstyles that would compliment the dress: an up-do or soft waves? Choose a maid of honor and bridesmaids. Create a wedding theme. Choose complementary colors for that theme. Pick a wedding location. Do you want a traditional church wedding or a tropical destination wedding?

Vacation

• Plan a dream vacation. Think about where you would go. Tour Europe. Hop between the Hawaiian islands. Drink margaritas on the Mexican Riviera. Take a safari in South Africa. Tour different golf resorts in Florida. Decide if you want a relaxing lazy vacation somewhere tropical on a picturesque beach, or an extreme adventure such as swimming with the sharks off the Australian coast. Once you decide where you want to go, think of who you would want to go with you. Would you rather have a friends only get-away or a romantic rendezvous? Dreaming about a vacation gives you a brief escape from reality and something to consider putting your extra money towards.

Hairstyles

• Do you need a new look? A great haircut is a self-confidence boost and can alter your appearance drastically. While you are thinking about new hairstyles thumb through a magazine for inspiration. Do you want a dramatic short pixie haircut or long versatile layers? Think about what hairstyle would meet your needs. If you still want to be able to throw your hair up in a ponytail, a short hair style is not a good option. If you are comfortable using a curling iron then perhaps a longer hairstyle would fit your needs. Have a mirror handy to help you imagine yourself with a new haircut.

The Lottery

• Go try your luck at the lottery.

  What would you do if you won the lottery or inherited a large sum of money? Think about what you would do first. Go on a shopping, buy a sports car or donate to charity. Recall any influential people, teachers, family or friends that you would share the wealth with. Perhaps you would start your own business such as a dog daycare, open up that restaurant you have always thought of or would you move somewhere else instead? Invest in a beach house or buy a loft in the city? If money was not an issue and you finances were in order, it is fun to fantasize about your potential financial freedom.
