Try and make sure that you're doing something active every day. The more often you do an activity the less often you will feel bored.
Independent Entertainment

If your idea of fun depends on being around other people, then you will be stuck relying on other people's schedules for entertainment.. Ask yourself what you enjoy and then create a list of hobbies that you can do regularly on your own. For many people, exercising is a healthy hobby that helps fight boredom. Exercising can be an independent activity and it keeps you active.
Some people that are bored fill their void by eating. This can be an unhealthy habit to acquire, especially if you are snacking on junk food. Free Hobbies
-
A trap that people sometimes fall into is becoming dependent on money-based entertainment. You probably enjoy going to a movie, eating at a restaurant, or buying a ticket to see a sporting event. The problem with these forms of entertainment is that they cost money, and you may not be able to enjoy them when you're on a tight budget. Just because you cannot afford to go see a movie, does not mean you should be bored. Communities have free events.Listen to your radio, look at community postings, and check out local newspapers for free events. If you're a student, take advantage of your school or university. High school students can typically get into their sporting events for free. Universities have many clubs that are constantly holding mixers and other free events. If you get there early enough, you may also be able to enjoy some free food.
