Stress balls can take many shapes and forms, from small globes to miniature chickens. However, they all boast stress relief and enhanced relaxation benefits. Stress balls are made durably to withstand constant squeezing and use.

Function

• Stress balls are squeezed to reduce stress and relax muscle tension. They are also popularly used as a promotional product for businesses that employ office workers.

Size

• Stress balls are small, usually no more than 7 cm in diameter. They can be bigger, but the larger models are usually for novelty purposes only.

Types

• There are three primary types of stress balls--foam, gel and powder--based on the primary ingredient they contain.

Features

• Foam stress balls are made by injecting foam into a mold, and are the most durable. Gel stress balls are simply gel surrounded by a cloth or rubber sleeve. Powder stress balls are rubber membranes stuffed with powder.

• Stress balls can be made at home by filling a balloon with baking soda and tying the end to keep the powder inside.
