Breathe: Sometimes all you need to do is just breathe. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, hold it for three seconds and then exhale. Keep doing this until you feel your self slowly unwinding.

Take a look around. There's always something beautiful in nature. Whether it be a sun set in the sky, the way water droplets fall from trees after it rains, or a flower gently swaying in the breeze. Appreciate the world we live in. There are many marvels all around to behold.

Take your mind off of the stress: Do something productive and fun. This can be going to see a movie with friends, going shopping, or especially things that don't require any money at all, like gazing at the moon at night or listening to your favorite song/ music. Be content within your self

Meditate: Meditation has a big part in becoming peaceful. You're able to shut out all the surrounding madness and find your self with in your self.
